AIX Systems Engineer Looking For Challenging Work!
Feb 25th, 2010, 9:03pm

I am an AIX Systems Engineer looking for a position in Houston, TX.  I have worked with HPs, Suns, DGs, and SGIs, but I especially like the AIX environment.  I architected and installed Administaff's current Logically Partitioned and Virtualized p5 & p6 UNIX environments - Corporate and DR sites.  A couple of 510s, mainly 550 & 570s.  Setup the Fibre Channel Disk connectivity to IBM DS's, SVC (SAN Volume Controllers), EMC Symmetrix DMX, and HP EVA8400.  Setting up and changing software from SDD to SDDPCM to PowerPath to AIX native host FC attachment software and utilizing the Multipath I/O (MPIO) software associated with each of the subsystem device driver software.  Most all of my VIO clients were SAN boot - my p6 has a couple of Lpars that are direct SAN attached but still using the VIO for micropartitioning and I used the IVE for networking - very sweet - I now have the apps and database servers in the same frame and the same IVE grouping - much better connectivity!
My resume can be found on Dice or email me at LouWilcox@Live.com - call or txt - 713-417-5445 - My Administaff appraisals will be available as soon as I can scan them.
Thank you for checking me out! Wink
